Hi! I am excited to raise money for the Pride House Tokyo through the Tokyo Marathon 2026 Charity. Pride House Tokyo is a Japanese non-profit organization that aims to create a more inclusive society by providing information, creating safe spaces, and hosting events related to LGBTQ+ issues. As many of you know, I love to run! For me, running is the closest thing to flying. I am grateful to have been a part of such an inclusive and supportive running community in New York City, and I wish to share my love of running with others and make them feel included. Growing up I felt like I didn't "fit in." I have two moms, and I would always have to explain to others, especially adults, that I was adopted and did not have a dad in a traditional sense. My moms have been supportive of me, and I love them for them being who they are and letting me be who I am. They have supported me at all my marathons (to date, I have run 9!) and my dream for the past few years has been to run the Tokyo Marathon. I am honored to participate in the Tokyo Marathon as a charity runner for the Pride House Tokyo, an organization that is doing amazing work. I hope that through this experience, I can share my love of running and help others chase their dreams and fly.
