Casey Pittman

Hi everyone, as most of you know the Pittman family lost their brightest star this past Monday. Casey succumbed to his long and tireless battle with the cruel disease of muscular dystrophy.
None of us will know the pain and suffering he endured for most of his waking hours in his 28 years. Most of us will not understand either, the long list of ways the family sacrificed and suffered alongside Casey.
One of the ways I think we can understand is the financial sacrifices the Pittman family made.
A lot of the expensive apparatus required to keep Casey alive and as comfortable as possible were not covered by insurance or the wonderful MDA and had to come out of pocket all these years.
Casey's dad Paul never complained once but has been locked into a very physically demanding job for many years past the ones expected of a guy his age, out of fear of losing the insurance his plan had for Casey's care. Whatever opportunities or ventures to make more money for the family, are in the past.
We all know how hard they work yet they find themselves ill-prepared to properly wake and bury their beloved son.
If... IF you are in a position to help and would like to, please consider donating to this fundraising effort. Thank you for your time either way – Casey’s uncle Ken
