SAVE JAKE MANGLE WURZELS GRAVE
Donation protected
PLEASE HELP TO PROTECT THE LIFELONG WISHES OF A TRUE GENTLEMAN
Despite Jake’s lifelong wishes to be buried within his grounds alongside his beloved cottage, the current sale of the plot allows for the demolition of the cottage and the exhumation and re-burial of his body elsewhere.
Please support this campaign and will enable me to fight his fight as he would have done had he still been with us today. I fell in love with this local legend from an early age and would be honoured to defend his wishes.
Your generous and kind donations will allow Jake to continue resting in peace in line with his wishes, preventing the exhumation and re-location of his recently buried body and demolishing the beloved cottage he now lays peacefully alongside.
The funds will be used as follows:
- Purchase the plot
- Associated fees
- Formally protecting the grave and cottage
- Providing a suitable and respectful shrine around the grave
- Respectfully tidy and maintain the grounds to be aesthetically pleasing
- Apply for planning permission allowing the restoration of the cottage to its original former glory
The land and property are a true piece of local history and will be gone forever once demolished.
Formerly known as John Grey, in 1978 John changed his name by deed poll and became Jake Jonathon Zebedee Mangle-Wurzel, better known locally as Jake Mangle Wurzel, with a TV documentary naming him ‘King of the Eccentrics’.
Please search for Jake online and enjoy the endless videos, pictures and stories that best describe him.
