Suicide is the second leading cause of death among young people.
Furthermore, estimates suggest that more than 800,000 people die every year from suicide - about one death every 40 seconds.
The KindWall is a technology platform based on Newtons Third Law of Motion that can offset the harmful effects of verbal and mental abuse,loneliness, and feelings of low self-worth, that often cause suicide and school shootings.
We're asking for help to fund the full development of the social platform and mobile application that require a sentiment detection algorithm necessary, to make it work.
In 2015, I created a social media platform called The Kind Wall designed to stop youth suicide and prevent school shootings by spreading unexpected words of kindness between people, specifically young people. Unlike social media today, the Kind Wall encourages human interaction.
Anonymity allows users to express kindness and authenticity to a person due to clicks, and the sacred high-school self-image kids strive to maintain.
The platform allows users to remain anonymous in order to allow freedom of speech. It is still in its development stage because I need funds to have expert developers create an algorithm that can identify and restrict negative sentiment.
I'm looking for help to fund the full development of my creation, The Kind Wall, which, in its full development has the ability to not only prevent youth suicide but its long-term effect will reverse the deterioration of humanity.
Theory: Newton's third law - For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. The statement means that in every interaction, there is a pair of forces acting on the two interacting objects. The size of the forces on the first object equals the size of the force on the second object.:
With the idea that for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction – and harmful words often lead to mass-murder, school shootings, and suicide – just by saying something kind, you could save a life.
Why we need it: Since the birth of MySpace in the early 2000's, kids have taken to social media to spread hate and slander causing thousands of young people to end their lives, and wors, the lives of the ones causing the pain, This is prevalent in the daily school shootings and mass suicides here in our own country. As an app, The Kind Wall could stop youth suicides, bullying, and school shootings.
How it works: Intended as a mobile application, users register to SHARE, RECEIVE, and ENCOURAGE kindness anonymously by using words to break the cycle of retaliation, gossip, bullying, and suicide. The Kind Wall is still in its development stage. I originally began my marketing agency, Cuttlefish Marketing, to fund its full development. However, I am at the point of selling it just to see the project reach its full potential. Because over time, kids of my own, college loans, and the overall condition of the world, the Kind Wall remains silent and powerless.
The Kind Wall is something that should literally reverse the deterioration of humanity. I have researched social theories and scientific theories that prove the functionality in its proper application form makes the Kind Wall a viable solution.
