The worst of Hurricane Helene is hitting us now. Our housemate lost his job because of the storm. He just had his first 40-hour week in months last week. Option 2, Duke Energy Progress will keep us on, but we have to pay over $200/month on top of our actual bill for the next 5 months.

Our electricity will be cut off tomorrow if we don't do something. I have $800 pledged by 2 non-profits, but only if we get the rest paid first, before 5 PM TODAY, Tuesday, June 24th.

Duke will take half to keep us on and just add $250 to our next 5 bills. So, $1250 today.

I'm embarrassed, but desperate.
