Prevent me from being street homeless

11/3/2025 UPDATE

I am absolutely overwhelmed by your love and support. Tomorrow I will return to the housing office to seek hopefully atleast some sort of a longer term-temporary accommodation. This money so far is being used to do the following things- pay the fee for my temporary accommodation, paying back those who helped me out with expenses whilst waiting for these funds to clear, essentials such as toiletries and food whilst I wait for access to food bank vouchers- its also helped with transportation costs. The only reason I have upped the goal is because i have had a few dm’s telling me to! But again I am blown away be your generosity! I dont know how much this process is going to cost to get out of- what ever is not used on temporary accommodation and necessary items will go towards more permanent accommodation

Hello!

So the council has finally taken duty of care over me and will help me out until Monday! I am still considered homeless however until i am in a permanent housing situation. I can’t thank everyone who’s donated enough and I will still be using this money to go towards keeping a roof over my head for the time being!

Hello! My name is Kieran a transman from the UK

In august last year I fled a domestic abuse situation- I have spent the last 6 months looking for somewhere more permanent to live however I have been unsuccessful and I no longer have anywhere safe to stay. My local council are claiming they do not have a duty of care to me however i know this is untrue, i am working with solicitors ect in an attempt to rectify this but- need to be out of this place by Friday and I have no where to go.

I will use this money to keep a shelter over my head and keep myself safe whilst I look for somewhere permanent to live!
