Help My Family Avoid Eviction – We Need Your Support not looking for a handout just a helping hand up!

Dear friends, family, and kind strangers,

I’m reaching out today with a heavy heart to ask for help. My family and I are facing the very real threat of eviction, and we need your support to stay in our home. Over the past few months, we’ve been struggling with loss of job, stolen food stamps and finances, car troubles and short hospitalization; as a result, we’ve fallen behind on our rent.

Despite our best efforts, we’re now at risk of being evicted, which would mean homelessness and major upheaval for my child and newly born granddaughter. We’ve exhausted all other options, and we are running out of time and resources as lots of funding programs have been cut.

We need to raise $2,200 to cover the back rent and fees associated with the eviction process as well as the current rent and late fees. This amount will help us avoid being evicted and allow us time to get back on our feet. The leasing office will work with us if we can come up with the money before another month is added on.

Every dollar raised will go directly toward paying our rent arrears and preventing eviction.
