Prevent Frostbite and Death for our Neighbors!

Hi Northampton,

With the arrival of snow, our unsheltered neighbors are struggling with staying warm and dry. The washing machine at the Manna Warming Center is broken (too much demand and heavy sleeping bags) and we need community support!

We could make a BIG dent in preventing people from freezing to death or losing limbs by providing quarters for laundromats during the next 3 months.

Last year we had a similar program and only had 2 frostbite cases. This works!

The average cost to wash and dry just ONE load is around $7 in Northampton. Please follow the link to contribute a TAX DEDUCTABLE donation, if you are able.

Just $15 could save the life and limbs of our struggling neighbors. Hilltown Community Health Centers has provided over 400 hand warmers, but they wont work unless the patient has dry clothes and sleeping bags. Thank you for your consideration!
