Fund raising for a cause

Life was smooth until 2020 when we fell victim to the covid 19 pandemic. Unfortunately, my father lost his job and the burden of all finances fell solely on me. Even though I had to use my savings to get through the pandemic, I have no regrets about it. My dream of pursuing a master's degree persisted through it all. However, two years after the pandemic, the country's economy suffered greatly. When it came time for me to apply for postgraduate admission, I had to pay double the amount due to the decline in the value of my country's currency.

Regardless of the challenges I faced during these 3 years, the only hope that fueled my motivation for my higher studies has been the prospect of receiving a scholarship. Consequently, the fact that I have been unable to secure one has left me feeling immensely sad and helpless.

Even though I am working part-time, the income I earn only covers my basic expenses and is not enough to cover the high expenses associated with the valuable education I am receiving in the UK.
