Pretzel’s Life-saving Surgery
Donation protected
It’s really hard to ask for help but Pretzel the cat needs emergency surgery to save his life!
Pretzel was born under our house and was found alone in our coal cellar as a teeny kitten on Mother’s Day last year. Over the next few weeks, we found the rest of his family and found great homes for all his siblings. His mom got spayed and released, and is still a regular visitor to our yard. Pretzel was adopted by us and became a deeply loved member of the family. He turned me into a cat person.
Over the last week, Pretzel became really sick. It’s taken many days and trips to the vet, but they finally determined he has an intestinal blockage that requires surgery. The cost quoted to us at the emergency vet is not something we can afford, and I’m reaching out to other vets for estimates to see if we can find a
way. We want to be able to help him but after a week of vet bills, it feels impossible to move forward.
Any funds raised would go toward his surgery and vet bills. Our current surgery estimate is 5-7 k but I am making calls tomorrow looking for non-emergency vets that may be able to do it for less.
Thank you,
Pretzel and his family
