Tim and Kassidy Prestenbach are a wonderful young couple with 3 beautiful children; Peyton (8), Ryder (5), and Madelyn (3 months).
Kassidy works as a labor and delivery nurse at West Jefferson Medical Center in Marrero, LA and prior to that was an ICU nurse there. Originally from Tx, she met Tim and fell in love, eventually moving to New Orleans, LA.
Tim is a deckhand on the M/V Sir Barton with Turn Services, LLC in New Orleans, LA. Working in a demanding environment on the Lower Mississippi River, he has impressed his captains and other teammates in his duties and desire to grow his career on the river.
With a newly born daughter (Madelyn), Kassidy had taken maternity leave and was to return to work on February 1st.
On January 15th Kassidy had a medical procedure on and began running fever of 103 degrees by Saturday morning. By January 16th her body had gone into shock. She is currently on aggressive antibiotics, life-support due to respiratory failure and dialysis because of kidney failure.
Words cannot fully express their situation. Although there has been an outpouring of love, personal assistance, and medical care; neither of the Prestenbach's are working now. The medical situation demands full time attention from Tim to his wife and children. However, household bills still need to be paid and medical bills are accruing.
With that said, Turn Services is a family. It always has been and always will be. You aren't just an employee. What we can do is help out with this GoFundMe account. Any donation or prayer will help. One Good Turn deserves another.
