Presley's Medical Recovery and Housing Completion

Hi Dear Friends and Family. As Many of you know two days ago Presley went into the hospital with severe head pain. Through testing the hospital discovered Presley has a blood clot in her brain that is extending into three different veins. She was taken via ambulance to OSU so that she could be treated properly. Due to her age, OSU has opted to put her on a high quantity of anticoagulants and monitor the clot. We are all extremely grateful the clot was caught before fully occluding one of her veins. At the same time, the idea of her living with this inside of her, until the clot goes away, is terrifying for us all! One of the biggest things the doctor says needs to happen while she recovers is for her stress load to decrease substantially and that is where we give a practical answer for all those asking how we could use help. Two months ago we moved into a fixer-upper and paid our savings to a contractor who was contracted to redo all the floors, including floor joists in our home. He showed up and demolished everything including our kitchen, bathroom, living room, and bedrooms. and much more.... then stopped showing up. We are in the process of trying to get our funds back but until then we have been living without basic necessities such as a restroom or kitchen. Most of the house has exposed floor joists without subfloors currently. While we have been getting by as a family and have been trying to do all the work we can do, having these complications with Presley means we are desperately praying we can get the funds to hire a new contractor to give her the best place to recover in. We are happy to do as much work as possible but the reality is we need help. If any of you feel led to help we would be extremely grateful. The doctor says the more stress she is under the more likely more clots will occur. Asking for help is definitely a humbling experience but what has been even more humbling and amazing is seeing how many people are praying for Presley and our family. Beyond all financial help we most of all ask for continued prayers and want to give our deepest thank you to everyone who has been lifting us up in prayer.
Sincerely, The Hawley Family
