Presley Joe Conley

Thank you everyone for your thoughts and prayers for our sweet little Presley Joe. As many of you know, on Sunday July 9th, Presley's Owlet Sock Monitor alerted us that her oxygen levels were dropping, I rushed her to Newmans Hospital in Emporia. Once we arrived Presley stopped breathing and she had to be bagged for 4 minutes, once she was stabble she was flown to Children's Mercy Hospital in Kansas City. After seeing multiple doctors and countless tests, it was determined that Preley suffered from acute reflux causing her to aspirate after feedings. She had a pediatric fundoplication surgery on Monday July 17th. She was off oxygen, eating by bottle and sent home the next day. On July 21st we were at her follow up appointment with her primary doctor in Newton. Presley stopped breathing on us again resulting in another helicopter ride to Children's ’s Mercy. They did surgery on August 9th for Laryngomalacia which was missed during our first hospital stay. We were sent home on August 16th with a feeding tube that goes to her intestine due to het still not tolerating anything in her stomach. We are very thankful to have our baby girl home but we all have a very long road ahead of us. Cody and Brianna are both self employed and are having to take off for weekly doctor appointments with GI, ENT and Pulmonology for Presley. All donations will be used for medical bills and medical supplies that insurance does not cover. We appreciate all your prayers for our Presley Joe.
