Preserving Veteran Headstones

We are Madonna White and Aaron

Schultz. We met thru a FB page “The

Forgotten Iowa Historical Society” when

Aaron posted photos of his adventures at

restoring veteran head stones around the Johnson County area. I thought it was a fantastic project! We have been spending our own money to buy the biologic D2 and brushes that we use for the cleaning. We also are purchasing flags to place by the headstones we’ve cleaned. Lots of folks are asking how they can help! Well, here it is! Please feel free to donate here, we will use the funds to purchase the D2, additional brushes as needed and flags. If any one would like to join us, send us an email and we’ll let you know when we are going! We don’t have a set schedule, depends on weather, wind speed, and our schedules. It’s great fun!
