We want to introduce you to the Taylors. We met David and Monica nearly 6 years ago and quickly became friends and partners in the gospel.
The Taylors planted a church in Fethiye, Turkey, almost a decade ago, and by God’s grace it is growing in a region that has been churchless for decades. Planting in an Islamic context that has been void of Gospel foundations requires long term work, vision, and endurance. Their goal has always been to establish a self-sufficient, Biblically qualified, multiplying church in Fethiye. And we want to continue to help secure their work for years to come.
THE PROBLEM
Currently, the situation in Turkey is difficult. Non-Turkish pastors and missionaries are being removed from Turkey at an unprecedented rate. We are committed to help secure the Taylors and the work that God has done through them in Fethiye for years to come. And here is how we can do it…
THE PLAN
In an effort to encourage expatriates to invest in the Turkey’s economy there is a fast-track to citizenship. If the Taylors purchase a home or a building valued at $250,000 or more they are automatically made citizens, giving them legal status in Turkey. Citizenship will ensure that they cannot be deported. We want to help make this happen.
THE PROPOSAL
We are asking you to give generously to help the Taylors purchase the building where they currently meet as a church for $250,000. Owning their church building will make them legal citizens allowing further gospel ministry without the threat of deportation.
Please consider being a part of this important work.

Read below to hear from the Taylors on their current needs and the purpose of this campaign:
Over the years we as a church have gained legal standing with the country and are in the process of gaining even higher status in order to see the ministry grow in a way where the church will outlast our witness and be able to serve the city in multiple ways. We are thinking long term and have a lot of work before us. Many ministries have been started, networks created, disciples made, and there are opportunities for growth on every front.
As we continue planning for the future we have another challenge and opportunity we want you to consider. This last year a new form of persecution has confronted the church throughout Turkey. Foreign ministers are regularly being removed from the country and at an alarming rate. Many of our dearest friends and co-laborers have already been removed. In hopes to avoid this type of removal we have made a decision to pursue Turkish citizenship.
After much research, however, it has proven to be a massive process and requires a purchase of a home or building worth a minimum of $250,000 plus up to $25,000 in taxes and fees. Therefore, in order to continue the ministry the Lord has put before us we want to pursue buying our current church space that we are renting. The purchasing of our local church space will come with many benefits and we would ask you to consider the following reasons:
REASON 1: To secure citizenship for the Taylor family.
• Citizenship will allow legal Gospel work without the threat of removal.
• Citizenship will allow us to work, witness, network, and minister with more freedom.
REASON 2: $250,000 will allow us to purchase our current Church.
• Purchasing the church will allow the Christian community their first place of permanence in a century.
• Purchasing the church will allow us to move rental finances toward other needed ministries.
• Purchasing the church will allow us to host conferences, ministries, and worship for decades to come.
RESTORATION PROJECT:
In addition to purchasing our existing church building we are also in the process of seeking to restore an ancient church connected to our building. There are great possibilities to regain this site and allow us to convert the old church into a new sanctuary and allow us to use our current space for a needed community center, children’s ministry space, bookstore, cafe, and much more. The purchasing of our existing building is a major step in the long road of service the Lord has called His church to in Turkey.
Would you partner with us and help us accomplish what seems impossible for the glory of God and the spread of the Gospel?
