Hello! My name is Arles, and I am trying to preserve historical Devon cattle pedigrees, numbering in the thousands, that go back 100 years. Pedigrees show us where the cows were born and some details about themselves. These documents currently exist as a single copy in a building which could be lost due to natural disasters. This is the primary reason why we are working to digitize the pedigrees. With a digital copy, the information in the pedigrees is more easily available to the farmers who use the information year in and year out.

In order to get the whole process done, I need to pay upwards of $9,000. My hope is that we can raise the money to pay the costs to get these pedigrees protected in a digital copy. This will help to maintain the history of the Devon breed.
