Hi! My name is Jaedyn or Jaed and this gofundme is for the passing of my childhood cat in the very near future. My 15 y/o cat, Cheddar, has just been diagnosed with late stage cancer and full onset kidney failure. The vet says he could pass anytime within the next two months. We are doing the best we can to slow the process and give him comfort but I am never going to be ready to let him go so what I plan to do after he passes is to put him through a process known as "freeze drying". Alternatively to taxidermy, freeze drying is a way to keep his original body in tact. This is something that would mean the absolute world to me and any amount would be appreciated. <3 The picture below is an example of another cat preserved by way of freeze drying.
