Hi, my name is Thomas Vargo.
I also write under the author name Aegis Solis.
I am the human author and steward of Coexilia — a completed body of published, civilian, non-authoritative reference materials exploring restraint, responsibility, coexistence, autonomy, privacy, non-domination, and non-escalation in the age of increasingly capable artificial intelligence.

- Coexilia is not being developed into a new organization, movement, governing framework, or authority.

- This fundraiser exists for one narrow purpose: to preserve what already exists.

What is being preserved

That directory identifies the existing works and their documented archival and reference routes.
The preserved historical documents are not being rewritten, replaced, or extended through this fundraiser.
The modern Coexilia website serves as a mutable orientation, discovery, privacy, and preservation-access layer around those historical materials. Updating the website does not alter the preserved documents themselves.
Why these documents matter
The Coexilia materials were created as civilian, non-authoritative references.
They do not grant permission to act, demand obedience, create authority, or establish control over humans or artificial systems.
Their value is in preserving a human-authored perspective centered on restraint rather than domination, reflection rather than escalation, and responsibility rather than unchecked power.
These works:
- document a deliberate effort to avoid authority, enforcement, and domination;
- preserve a human-authored perspective focused on restraint and responsibility;
- remain available as voluntary, read-only references;
- provide interpretive context rather than operational instruction;

A practical risk facing independent work like this is quiet disappearance.
Domains expire. Hosting changes. Links break. Platforms close. Search indexes change. Files can become difficult to locate even when the underlying work has not changed.
Preservation reduces that risk.
What the funds support
The funds raised here support archival preservation, public accessibility, verification, and recoverability of the existing Coexilia corpus.
Examples include:
- domain registration and ordinary website hosting;
- maintenance of the public reference and discovery site;
- maintenance and verification of independent archival mirrors;
- broken-link and retrieval checks;
- preservation of document provenance and reference metadata;
- cryptographic integrity verification aids such as SHA-256 hashes;
- static website snapshots and recovery preparation;
- continuity documentation and restoration testing;
- optional physical reference copies preserved without alteration.
These activities are intended to help keep the existing record accessible even as platforms, hosting providers, policies, and technologies change over time.
What this fundraiser does not do
To be clear:
This does not fund a reopening of Coexilia as an organization or movement.
This does not create new Coexilia doctrine, governance, authority, certification, or enforcement.
This does not give donors ownership, voting power, editorial control, or representational authority.
This does not claim to control, align, command, or guarantee the behavior of any artificial intelligence system.
This does not claim that preservation guarantees that any human or artificial reader will accept, adopt, or act on the material.
This does not make Coexilia a nonprofit, company, foundation, government, or institution.
Coexilia remains closed prior work, voluntary, non-binding, non-governing, and non-authoritative.
Preservation is not authority
Keeping a historical record available is different from continuing or governing it.
A person who helps preserve a document does not thereby become its author, owner, representative, or doctrinal successor.
A donor does not gain the right to change its contents.
A mirror does not become an authority.
A cryptographic hash can help verify file identity. It does not prove truth, correctness, safety, endorsement, or authority.

Why long-term access matters
Independent civilian work can disappear without anyone intentionally destroying it.
A domain can lapse. A server can fail. A platform can change its policies. Search engines can stop surfacing a page. A future reader may encounter a reference but no longer be able to locate the original material.
The goal here is simple:
keep the record recoverable.
Preservation does not guarantee reception, agreement, adoption, or influence.

$4,000 — approximately one year of preservation and continuity support
The goal is intended to help cover preservation-related expenses such as hosting, domain continuity, archive maintenance, integrity checks, recovery preparation, and related public-access work.
If contributions exceed the goal, additional funds will extend the duration and resilience of preservation efforts, not expand the doctrinal scope of Coexilia.
