I'd like you to meet my Mother, Rena Miller Ewing. Just shy of her 72nd birthday, she suffered a fall and is currently in critical condition in the ICU at Skyline Medical Center. This tragic fall resulted in her having a brain bleed and several other severe health issues. The situation has changed rapidly and in a few mere days, me, her son, David Morgan Ewing Jr. will have to make the impossible decision on allowing her to pass comfortably. Although I am gut-wrenched by this choice, she cannot breathe on her own without the assistance of a ventilator. She will be survived by me, my nephew Sevin, and my four aunts. Rena has had a hard, long, troubled life thus I am here asking for your help to achieve a send off which preserves her memory the best I can. She was diagnosed with Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever and further developed Schizophrenia. Due to her not being of sound mind, and my going through the trials and tribulations of life, we were never able to acquire proper documentation. I have a legal battle ahead of me to take over her estate and property. It is going to cost thousands of dollars on top of funeral costs which I simply cannot afford. Edit: Mom passed away around 8:30pm on the 18th after surviving being taken off the ventilator at Tristar, she made it to Alive Hospice where due to complications with breathing she passed away peacefully.
