Brothers,

This is Michael Lawrence, Omega Phi, c/o '99, requesting your assistance in raising funds to secure a 10x15' air-conditioned storage unit near UCF to safely secure and preserve our precious Omega Phi Chapter artifacts and historical items in lieu of the Chapter's recent closure announcement by our Phi Gamma Delta (FIJI) Archons.

Based on local estimates and current availability, costs for a one-year rental of a 10x15' unit is about $2,350 for the year, with the required insurance, tax, and initial one-time registration.

Funds raised will be placed in our Orlando Graduate Chapter account and used to pay for an initial one-year rental of the storage unit and a U-Haul rental to secure the items from the current Chapter House. We will work to do an annual Graduate fundraiser each year to help pay for the storage in the years to come until our beloved Omega Phi Chapter hopefully returns to UCF within the next 4-5 years.

Any funds raised not initially used will remain in the Orlando Graduate Chapter account for use towards the storage unit rental in the next consecutive years to come.

Because we are in the summer months, units are going fast so, we're hopeful to work quickly to raise the funds needed to secure an adequate unit and so we can swiftly coordinate with the Undergraduate Brothers on the safe removal of said historical items and artifacts.
