La Cachette du Coin is a small independent restaurant in Brooklyn, owned and operated by Chef Eva. From the beginning, Chef Eva built this restaurant without investors or a big financial cushion—just hard work, careful planning, small loans, and a deep belief that Brooklyn needed a place where Caribbean warmth, French technique, and honest hospitality could come together. La Cachette means “the hideaway,” and that is exactly what Chef Eva created: a welcoming space where neighbors could gather, celebrate, and feel like family. When the restaurant’s doors opened in December 2025, it marked the realization of that vision and the start of something truly special for the neighborhood. Over time, La Cachette du Coin has become more than a restaurant. It has become a place filled with memories, community, and dishes like the accra that mean home.
