Preserve Fitzgerald Family Legacy: Fund Mary's Headstone

Mary Fitzgerald McLeod, the younger sister of our grandfather, David E. Fitzgerald, tragically died from appendicitis at the age of 38 on Christmas Day in 1929.

She was living on Long Island at the time, but we have learned that she was buried in Saint Bernard's Cemetery in Sharon, Connecticut, the hometown of Grandpa's family. Probably because of the severe economic depression at that time, her grave was left unmarked and still is today.

To correct that lapse by adding Mary's name to the headstone for Grandpa and Mary's sister, Annie Fitzgerald, who died in 1910, and to secure and clean that headstone along with the one for their father, Michael Fitzgerald, who died in 1894, we are seeking to raise a total of $1,500 through this GoFundMe.
