Hi, my name is Cynthia (Parker) Goodwin, and I’m reaching out on behalf of my brother, Eddie

Parker, and our family.

Eddie is currently facing a critical eye condition that has been steadily worsening and now

threatens his ability to see. His doctors have determined that he needs urgent eye surgery to

save his eyesight. Unfortunately, this surgery is not covered by his health insurance, leaving

him responsible for the full cost of $15,000.

As his vision continues to decline, Eddie has been restricted from job opportunities and is at

risk of losing his current job, making this situation even more overwhelming. He is a devoted

father figure and manages a house with 3 children who depend on him, and this unexpected

medical expense has placed an enormous financial and emotional burden on their family.

Without this surgery, Eddie’s eyesight will continue to worsen, affecting not only his ability to

work, but also his quality of life and his ability to be fully present for his family.
