Hello, dear family and friends of the Emmons clan! I’m reaching out to our community with a humble request and a story that means so much to us.

On November 16th, Conner harvested his very first buck — an incredible milestone for any young hunter, and a moment he’ll never forget. But this joy is mixed with deep heartache, as Conner lost his father unexpectedly on November 3rd, just two weeks before this hunt.

He was hoping to honor this special moment with a shoulder mount, something his dad would have been unbelievably proud of. But as many of you know, taxidermy can be quite expensive, and right now a euro mount seems like the only option. My husband said he would love nothing more than to give Conner the shoulder mount he dreamed of, but it’s something we simply can’t make happen on our own.

That’s why we’re asking for a little help — not just to preserve a deer, but to preserve a memory. This mount would be a lasting tribute to his dad, a tangible reminder of a bond that will never fade. I truly believe David guided that buck to Conner and was watching over him the entire time.

Community support during times of grief is powerful. Every contribution, no matter the amount, brings us one step closer to honoring a father-son legacy and giving Conner something he can hold onto for the rest of his life.
