Preschool Teacher & her 3 children in Car Accident

On February 6th 2024, a South Harrison Community School Corporation Preschool Teacher, Courtney Bridgwater was driving to school with her 3 young children when they were involved in a serious car accident. Courtney sustained multiple injuries including a shattered pelvis and broken ribs. She was transported to University of Louisville Hospital where she underwent surgery and is facing more surgeries in over the course of the next few months. The injuries were so severe that they had to put a fixator bar to stabilize her pelvis until plates and screws can be surgically implanted in about 6 weeks. She is wheel chair bound. Courtney has a long road to recovery and will be unable to work, walk, and/or drive for the next several months. Her 3 young boys are now doing okay, but they will need assistance getting to and from school and after-school activities/sports. This single Mother and family needs support with rent, meals, and medical bills. Courtney not only is an awesome Mom, but she is an amazing Teacher. She really cares about her students like they are her own, and always goes above and beyond for them! We would be so grateful if you are able to help give in anyway that you can.
