My name is Kyle Gaunt, and I have created this page to raise funds for the production of my biggest, and most ambitious film production to date. The project, entitled Presage, is a bold, nuanced, sexy, and scary supernatural horror film that explores the weight of choice and consequence. It tells the story of Danny, a directionless young mechanic whose life spirals when he is visited and seduced by the spirit of his former lover, who presents him with a life-altering choice that has dire consequences on him and those closest to him. *See bottom of the page for rewards included*

It’s a film about grief, guilt, and the moments we replay in our heads when it’s too late to change them. We’re blending psychological realism with nightmarish surrealism to create a horror experience that is both emotionally grounded and terrifyingly unreal.

With the crippling state of the film industry as a whole, given new implementations around the world, it's only made it more difficult for any of us to find work. My project, like all previous ones, will provide jobs for everyone involved in the production.

Horror as a genre has become much more cerebral over the last decade, and most projects within the cerebral horror genre have generated profits and strong word of mouth. Our film seeks to capitalize on cerebral horror by showcasing both real life woes and supernatural irrational fears that breach fantasy and reality.

Filmmaking is a series of decisions, some enforcing compromise in order to preserve the integrity of the story being told. What we can't afford is to do anything sloppy because this is a story that needs to be told. But, this screenplay for this project has the clearest goal, strongest dialogue, and action that will have you on the edge of your seat.
