Thank you Mark Morrison - Return of the Mack, for donating $3200 for shoes for STAMPs back to school campaign, “Prepped, Pressed & Dressed”.
Thank you, CBS 12 News @ 3 p.m., for hosting us on your show today at 3 p.m. Thanks, Luli Ortiz, for the chance to discuss our Prepped Pressed & Dressed For School campaign. We need everyone's help to get our kids dressed for school. Please donate to our gofundme campaign. Your money will help us prepare 200 students for school.
Going back to school can be challenging for even the most prepared student. So, imagine those students who don't have the basic necessities required for a successful educational experience. The team at Student Athlete Mentoring Program (STAMP), a Palm Beach County based 501c3 organization since 2009, aims to change that - one student at a time.
STAMP is currently providing 200 students (ages 8 to 15 residing in the Palm Beach County School District) academic enrichment programs so that they can be ready for school in August. Many are from low incomes families, some are in foster homes, and some are at high risk for failure. They struggle with the basics, but not if we can help it.
All summer long, STAMP has prepared the students for academic success in school; now it's time to send them off to the classroom, Prepped, Pressed & Dressed for School! To do that, we need you! Donate today! Any amount that will help us reach our goal is appreciated!
Goal: We need 200 Partners to donate $250 each for these vulnerable students. Goal: raise $50,000 annually. Week of August 1, 2023, is slated as distribution week. Time is of the essence! Donate today!
- Your generous donation will help provide each student with: Three brand new school uniforms
- New pair of shoes
- Backpack loaded with all the school supplies for the school year
- Boys will get a trip to the barber for fresh haircuts.
- Girls will get a trip to the hair salon
