Hello, my name is Jose Aguilar; I am the son of Maria Blas. As some of you may know, my mom has been battling cancer since 2017, and unfortunately, they have told us that we need to prepare, for she doesn't have much time left. It all started well, her chemotherapies and surgery came out good to the point that they told us she was cancer free. Unfortunately, the tumor was metastasis, meaning it spread back more aggressively and soon took over her lungs and eventually her head. They had told us that the chemotherapy was hurting her instead of helping her body, so we made the rough choice of stopping them and letting her enjoy the time she had left. We were lucky enough to have house hospice where nurses helped us take care of her in the comfort of her own home. Many of the days she would stay in bed and sleep since her body was just too weak even to open her eyes. She hasn't eaten in five weeks since her stomach would throw it back out. The only thing she has been able to take is her medicine which includes morphine and haloperidol. The reason I'm making this gofundme is to be able to accomplish her dying wish. She always talked about going back to Mexico to see the rest of her family since it's been more than twenty years. Before all of this worsened, she had told us that if she was ever to pass away from this, her last and dying wish was to get buried beside her parents, who are located in Mexico. Ella siempre hablaba de volver a México para ver al resto de su familia desde que no la a visto hace más de veinte años. Antes de que todo esto empeorara, ella nos había dicho que si alguna vez fallecía de esto, su último y último deseo era ser enterrada junto a sus padres, quienes se encuentran en México.
