On June 11, 2019 my Dad (James Prejean) was sent home with hospice. He has cancer in both lungs, adrenal glands, & brain, his cancer is incurable this time. He did prearrange his funeral in 2014, & was paying on it monthly, but it is not paid off, plus many fees are not included in pre-arrangement. I took FMLA leave beginning on 6/10 to stay with him & care for him , & have not been getting paid while out on leave. I’m just trying to ease the financial  stress of an already stressful & emotional time. My dad was an amazing person who has & contines to fight, but he has steadily declined since Tuesday. He never let his diagnosis bring him down & always lived life to the fullest. I will not be prepared when the time does come emotionally to say goodbye, I pray to be prepared financially.
