Preparing for Final Days for Sarith “Inky” Pruek
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Sonja and I’m fundraising on behalf of my friends Sarith “Inky” Pruek and his wife Kristina. Every once in a while, you’re blessed to meet someone special but instead, I met two.
Some of you will know Sarith “Inky” Pruek has a very limited time left on this earth. I ask that you find it in your heart to donate what you can so that we may send him off properly. I know that this has been one of his main concerns before his degeneration - that family and friends would not be able to help. I want to show him with the couple of weeks left that he has remaining that we are all able to come together for him so he may pass away in peace.
During this journey of his disease, Colon-Rectal Cancer, it was important to be transparent with family, friends, co-workers and strangers. You may have seen the numerous messages, texts, and Facebook updates from his wife Kristina “Kaye” Pruek. She would like to thank all of those who have supported them in these past seven years. We need your help one last time.
Inky has battled Colon-Rectal cancer since 2016 when he was first diagnosed with this devastating disease. He had countless numbers of procedures and surgeries performed and was hospitalized an infinite amount of times. We had high hopes when he was in remission not once but twice but unfortunately, with this being the third and final time – he was left with fewer options of treatments. With the progression of this disease, it has now spread internally and externally all over his body. He is such a strong-willed person that kept going no matter how much pain he was in. Giving up was not a word he knew. He is fighting with all his might even with all the doctor’s prognosis of how much time he had left – he has outlived all of them! He has fought the toughest battle of his life and always tried to do so with a smile on his face. At the very beginning of this journey, he wanted to keep his health private due to not being looked at or treated differently. Kristina, on the other hand, wanted to let the world know about his journey so others can take their health more seriously. Not to ignore the signs, and to normalize going to the doctor for men.
Once the family and Kristina have his ceremony prepared – she will update everyone on the details to come and join us.
I ask with all my heart that you keep Kristina and Sarith in your prayers and continue to support the family as they are continuing to grieve during this time. If you can please repost this page would be a great support to us. I thank you for your time, support, prayers, and love.
