Help a Displaced Family in Gaza Survive and Access Medical Care

My name is Bahaa aldeen Hamid. I am Palestinian and currently living in Sweden. I created this fundraiser to support a close family friend and their family in Gaza, who are facing an urgent humanitarian and medical crisis.

Before the war, they lived a simple life. The husband worked as a programmer, while his wife worked as a midwife. They had a home, jobs, and a normal family life.

That life was destroyed when their home was hit by two missiles.

They were trapped under the rubble and eventually pulled out alive. The husband suffered severe injuries and is now paralyzed and unable to walk. Since then, his wife has had to help carry and move him whenever the family is forced to leave their shelter.

The family has been displaced seven times. With every displacement, they have lost more of what little they had left.

Their youngest child, Baraa, was born in a tent. That tent is now their shelter, despite being unable to provide adequate protection from the cold, heat, rain, and difficult living conditions.

Today, the family is struggling to afford the most basic necessities: food, clean water, diapers, medicine, clothing, and safe shelter.

The mother is also eight months pregnant. She is facing the possibility of giving birth while displaced and without reliable access to medical care.

Why we are asking for help

This fundraiser is intended to help the family meet their immediate needs and cover urgent medical expenses.

The funds will be used for:

- Food and clean drinking water

- Basic shelter and clothing

- Medical care for the mother and her unborn baby

- Food, medicine, and necessary supplies for the children

- Medication and medical supplies for the injured husband

- Diapers and other essential items for the baby

- Other urgent necessities caused by their displacement

I am raising these funds from Sweden because I know this family personally and they are close family friends. I am trying to help them because they currently have very limited options to support themselves.

The funds raised will be transferred to Gaza and used to support the family with their urgent needs. I will continue to provide updates about how the funds are being used whenever it is safe and possible to do so.
