Pregnant Mom and Kids Lose Home in Fire

My name is jacquae steven , and I’m writing this with a heart full of pain, but also hope. Recently, my home was completely destroyed by a devastating fire. I was living there with my seven beautiful children, and I am currently pregnant with my eighth. In a matter of minutes, everything we owned—our clothes, beds, school supplies, memories—was gone.

By the grace of God, we all made it out safely. But now, we’re starting from absolutely nothing. No home, no belongings, and no place to turn but the kindness and support of others.

As a mother, my heart aches not just for what we’ve lost, but for the uncertainty my children now face. They’re scared, displaced, and trying to understand how our lives changed overnight. I’m doing everything I can to stay strong for them, but I cannot do this alone.

We are asking for help to cover the costs of temporary housing, clothing, food, baby items, and eventually to start rebuilding a home where my children can feel safe and stable again. Every dollar counts, and every share brings us closer to healing.
