Pregnant mare bound for slaughter

Hi my name is Noelle, I’m an animal lover and especially love horses.

Please help me raise the funds to save this pregnant Buckskin Mare. She is 13 years old and the live stock auction says she is carrying low and heavy bred (which is slang to meaning she will be giving birth soon)

She is currently in a kill pen in Texas at Bowie (#1815) and I’m hoping to raise the funds to buy her and transport her to Utah. Once she is in utah, I will provide her with a forever home and a safe place to have her baby

With the first 1000$ I can purchase her from the livestock barn. And then the next step is to arrange transport to get her to UT to safety. The auction barn she is at in Texas, offers transportation for 1100$ to California. However since I started this fundraiser I have been working hard on finding other transportation that is more direct. As soon as she arrives in Utah, she will need a veterinarian to check her health and the health of her unborn baby.

update: I have found transpiration from Texas to Cheyenne, Wyoming on Sunday or Monday for 900$. Then it’s only 6.5 hours to get her to Utah!
