Hi, I'm Tavin and I got accepted into my #1 college, Morehouse College in Atlanta! I am so excited!
I'm a solid B- student and I know Morehouse is going to be very challenging for me. I want to be as prepared as best I can be. I am planning to study international relations and hope some day to become a diplomat. I see myself negotiating peace treaties around the world. I just want to make the world a better place for us all.
In my acceptance letter, they encouraged me to come to their pre-freshman summer program. It will help me strengthen my academic skills, study habits, critical thinking, and time management, plus I'll have the opportunity to become familiar with the campus and make some new friends.
The only thing is, the school is pretty expensive and I know my parents are doing what they can to pay tuition for the upcoming school year. They really don't have the money to send me to the summer program. The application and fee for the program is due May 29th. I am trying to raise enough money to pay the program fee of $3500.
