NICU Fight Fund for Baby Eliott

Early January 2021, my expecting sister’s water broke around 28 weeks of pregnancy from unknown causes. Jucille was due towards the end of March but she ended up giving birth by C-section to Eliott a week after her water broke at 29 weeks old, weighing around 2 lbs.
Since then, Eliott has been in the NICU for over 2 months needing constant monitoring, tube feedings, and respiratory support. The little fighter is slowly getting stronger and independent. The earliest to be discharged, we hoped, was when he reached gestationally 36 weeks but he still cannot breathe or eat properly on his own, requiring supplemental oxygen along with occupational therapy to learn how to suck properly.
Since then, Eliott has been in the NICU for over 2 months needing constant monitoring, tube feedings, and respiratory support. The little fighter is slowly getting stronger and independent. The earliest to be discharged, we hoped, was when he reached gestationally 36 weeks but he still cannot breathe or eat properly on his own, requiring supplemental oxygen along with occupational therapy to learn how to suck properly.
At the end of February, he finished his first bottle of milk, and is now gestationally 37 weeks weighing around 6 lbs. He has up to 30 minutes to try to feed and the rest is by the feeding tube since it can be too physically taxing. (I apologize the feeding tube was not removed).
Jucille has physically and mentally been going through a lot and is staying strong for her son while recovering from her C-section. Her husband is a dedicated father working fulltime around the clock while they visit the hospital everyday to be there for baby Eliott.
Eliott needs to be able to suck, swallow and breathe at the same time and have no alarms going off for 5 days that would indicate distress. He needs to continue to eat independently, gain weight, and be weaned off oxygen so he can be safely discharged from the hospital and meet his 2-year-old big sister waiting at home!
I am making this GoFundMe for my sister to help relieve financial burdens. With Eliott still hospitalized, it is unsure of his expected discharge at this point. Any support by donating, sharing and prayers is greatly appreciated.
