Precision's Hill walk for Alzheimer's Scotland.
On Sunday the 27th of October, staff of Precision Windows and Doors Ltd are climbing Conic Hill in aid of Alzheimer's Scotland: Action on Dementia. Dementia has impacted the lives of numerous members of staff at Precision, and currently there are over 90,000 people across Scotland living with dementia, highlighting the national crisis of this cruel disease.
Being Scotland's leading Dementia Charity, Alzheimer's Scotland work so hard, remaining committed to providing support to affected families. The work done by the charity is admirable and it would be an honour to help support such an amazing cause.
It is without question that without the work of charities like Alzheimer's Scotland, Dementia would be an even bigger problem than it already is. As numbers continue to rise, we need to make dementia care, prevention and awareness a national priority.
The funds raised from this event will be donated directly to Alzheimer's Scotland and will help families affected by dementia access Alzheimer's Scotland's vital services such as their Dementia Advisors, 24 hour helpline and Dementia Resource Centres.
Donations are greatly appreciated no matter how big or small. Every penny raised will be utilised in hope that one day there is a world without Dementia.
