In the early A.M. on Wednesday, October 15, 2014, Precision Skateboards and The BAY fell victim to a burglary committed by the two individuals pictured in this photo.
After all was said and done, the burglars made off with thousands of dollars in cash and product from Precision and The BAY, including but not limited to:
-Complete longboards, trucks, and wheels;
-Skateboard decks, trucks, and wheels;
-Bearings and hardware;
-Shirts and hoodies;
-Concessions from behind The BAY's counter;
-And the company credit card for The BAY.
Precision's display cases - previously filled to the brim with longboard trucks, wheels, accessories - were cleaned out almost entirely.
On top of the cash and product that was stolen, the burglars also took the keys to open the doors to Precision and The BAY. Precision is still doing a full inventory of the store to determine if anything else was taken.
While we are hopeful that the stolen product and cash will be returned back to us with the help of local police, we need immediate help to recoup from the burglary and make sure something like this doesn't happen to us again.
We have started this GoFundMe campaign to help Precision pay their insurance deductible; replace the product and the cash that was stolen from us; and help pay for new security measures to be installed around the entire facility. We are asking our customers, friends, family, and the local skateboarding community for help in this effort.
Precision has been giving back to the skaters in Lincoln for almost 30 years. The BAY is one of the few non-profit indoor skateparks and youth outreach centers in the country and they have done wonders in our community. Please help us keep moving forward past this!
