Precious Little Angel Evan

Hi Everyone, 
  My cousin Selma and her husband Brian lost their 3 month old son.
Last Tuesday morning Evan stopped breathing on a way to his doctor's appointment..Brian was able to do the CPR and bring him back until the paramedics came. When the paramedics showed up, Evan was stable enough to be taken to the OHSU. While in ambulance, Evan dropped again and it took them 20 minutes or so to try to bring him back.. When we arrived to the ER, he was still down and they couldn't find his pulse. Finally they were able to bring him back.. Unfortunately our son suffered from severe damage to the most important parts of his brain due to lack of oxygen for a long period of time.. Evan did not wake up for 5 days and in his brain there was very low brain activity.. He had seizures, but due to brain damage, it was not sending signals to the rest of his body.. Even if Evan was to wake up he would of never been able to walk or talk. Breathing tube was the only thing that was keeping him alive due to his critical airway.

As you may imagine they are in alot of pain and need the support. I am extremely lost for words at this point. 

God wanted his angel back and our family is relieved and at ease that he no longer has to suffer and that he is in a better place.. That is what keeps us going.. Evan has changed our life in just short amount of time and has touched so many people everywhere he went.. He was our blessing and will always be part of us..
