Dear Friends and Fans,
This has been a great start to funding the rest of the record. I am happy to report that I have all of the musicians' tracks but one and am on track for releasing the record in October on the 7 D Media music label.
I have been so busy in the studio (and other elements of life) that I have not been updating or promoting this fundraiser for a bit. I just got a donation yesterday and it reminded me that some of you might still want to contribute and pre-order the record.
I have to say that I am blessed to have so many amazing musicians joining me on this record and am so thankful for their talent and musical excellence.
These include: Gary Husband (Allen Holdsworth, John McLaughlin's 4th Dimension); Trey Gunn (King Crimson, The Security Project, 3 Below); Joe Deninzon (Kansas); Mark Lettieri (Snarky Puppy, Fearless Flyers); and Adam Holzman (Miles Davis, Steven Wilson); Doc Smith, and John Wubbenhorst.
Those are the Western players. On the India side, joining me are: V. Selvaganesh (Shakti), U. "Mandolin" Rajesh (Shakti), Ganesh Kumar, V. Mahesh, and Radika Iyer.
The string section is back with Rachel Nesvig, Brianna Atwood, and Phil Hirschi.
I could not have done this without the help of drummer, engineer extrodrinaire, and Associate Producer Don Gunn. He has been amazing to work with!
