Pre Masectomy Boobie Cast!

I’m reaching out for help from pals to help me get through a double mastectomy!

I recently found out I have the PalB2 gene meaning I’m very likely to get breast cancer, and to negate that chance, I’m having them removed.

As a way to get through it, I’ve decided to make a cast of my chest in its current form, as a therapeutic way to say goodbye. I’ve been following the artist who does it for a very long time and I’ve always wanted one, but the operation is now within four weeks so the time is now.

However, the cost of it is a little prohibitive for me right now. At £995 for the main artist, it’s a little out of reach when work is so volatile, and I have a plan for a mini retreat before I have the operation done.

Id love if my friends could support me with a little bit of help towards this. I have nothing really to give back except my love and friendship, but it means a great deal to me to be able to say bye to my body in its current form. I feel very strongly that this is the right thing I’m doing but this would be one final hurrah for the boobs!
