P.Ray's Medical Bill

Hey everyone,
As many of you know a few weeks ago I took a trip to the hospital because of some chest pain and I ended up staying for a couple days. During my visit I had a heart catheterization and they found an 80% blockage in one of the main arteries in my heart. With some amazing modern medicine and God watching over the whole thing the doctors cleaned out the blockage and inserted a stent to keep everything flowing freely.
The good news is I am now back to 100% flow and there was no damage to my heart since I caught it early! The bad news is modern medical practice is not cheap. The cost for the entire procedure along with a few nights in the hospital is coming in at around $90,000.00.
WOW, that is a whole lot of money! But there is more good news, my medical insurance is covering about $85,000.00 of it, Yay! But there is also some bad news, that leaves $5,000.00 that I am responsible for.
As you know Beverly and I live very modestly and love to bless others with any excess we have, this means we have very little excess money on hand when something like this occurs. With the bill coming due before the end of the year I am asking if you would consider helping us out with this expense. I know all of you are not able to help in a big way, but if some could do a little Beverly and I would be incredibly grateful.
Thankfully this was the first time I have been to the hospital since I was born and the cartiologist says I am good to go for another 59 years, so I am doing just that!
But my life is worth nothing to me unless I use it for finishing the work assigned me by the Lord Jesus—the work of telling others the Good News about the wonderful grace of God. Acts 20:24
Thanks in advance, P.Ray and Bev
