Praying for Savannah Callaway

Donation protected
Savannah Summer Callaway is a young mother, sister, daughter, friend, and nurse. She was involved in a horrific accident early Monday morning. September 12, 2016 changed the lives of many people. At approximately 8:00am Savannah was in a collision with a semi truck while driving her much smaller vehicle. She was on her way home from visiting her boyfriend in Georgia. From what they can tell she ran a stop sign, t-boned the semi, and was then run over by the truck. She was accompanied by her small dog who is still missing. Savannah was rushed to Augusta University Memorial Hospital in Augusta, Georgia. She sustained numerous life threatening injuries and is currently in the Shock Unit there. The Georgia Highway Patrol was unable to identify her and admitted her as a Jane Doe. When her boyfriend contacted her sister, Samantha, she was able to follow the trail that led her to her sister. The family rushed out of town to be by her side. They did not arrive until 8:00pm last night and are exhausted. Unfortunately, the hospital is in a commercial area of Georgia without many hotel accommodations. The only rooms in the vicinity are upwards of $200 per night. Doctors are saying Savannah will need to be there a minimum of two months. The family, including Savannah's daughter, Hailey, mother, Joy, father, sister, Samantha, niece, Faith, nephew Bryson, and her elderly grandfather, are currently looking for more affordable accommodations. This family needs our prayers so very desperately. What they are going through seems insurmountable, but they serve a very BIG God who knows every detail. Please do not stop praying for them. If you are able to give financially to help support this long recovery this page was set up to do just that. There are many tests that still need to be performed, but as of this morning Savannah's condition is so fragile that many of the tests will have to wait. Please be praying for her, for complete healing and no lasting remnants of this traumatic event, for her family, that the Lord will hold them up during this trying time, for the doctors and nurses responsible for her care, and that ultimately Jesus would be glorified in this entire situation. This page will be updated as more details are available.
