On Thursday, December 13th, sweet Owen "Owie" had a cardiac arrest and is now at Dell Children's Hospital on life-support. Our little super hero is a fighter and SO brave. There are no words to describe this situation BUT the faith the family has in the Lord and the miracles and LOVE they have felt from family, friends, Austin Fire Dept, Concordia University, Celebration Church, Footsteps Preschool, the list goes on...is Indescribable and gives them the strength to fight this battle with their little man. For those of you that have been praying, please keep praying and those that are just now learning of this sweet boy, we ask that you lift Owie up in prayers for a full recovery. Owen's Aunt Allie and sweet friends have set up a 24 hour prayer vigil as well as Caring Bridge for the family to keep everyone posted (Links are in the public Facebook group #PrayingforOwen page). Owen has a long road ahead of him with a very lengthy and costly stay in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit.   All funds raised will be given to the family to help cover medical costs. The family is finding comfort and strength with the hundreds of visitors that have come and loved on them and their baby.  They have been blessed to be given a room at the Ronald McDonald House next to the hospital.  We serve a mighty God that has been present at this Hospital  and seen HIS work in action. Amidst this tragedy, we've seen nothing but beautiful moments touch their lives.
