1/31 while tim was leaving work he was the victim of a freak accident. Nobody seen what happened but thankfully some men he worked with found him and were quick to react and save his life. Some how his leg ended up under the tire of the semi and the truck dragged him a ways. He was air lifted from Marinette to saint Vincent in green bay where he underwent surgery that night at this point they had to amputate his right leg below the knee but there will be more surgery to come with that. Also during the evaluation they found a tear in his aorta caused from all the trauma that they placed a stent in his heart to repair. He has multiple contusion from the accident, broken ribs and bruised lungs. At this point today he is sedated and in the critical care unit. Additionally injures  Left lateral ribs 3,4,5,6,7 fractured. Left Back ribs 2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 fractured. Right lateral ribs non displaced 3,5,6,7,8 fractured. Clavicle dislocation by sternum. L3 and L4 end plate fracture. As of this morning February 2nd we were told dad spiked a fever last night and have been given more antibiotics. We were told that this is normal due to all the trauma. This afternoon he will be going back into the OR so they can clean the wounds and re evaluate him. They will also be fitting him for a brace for the broken vertebra in his lower spine that he will use till they heal.. Tim is a father to 4 children. Matt, Andy, Sam, Alex and has 8 grandchildren. He is caring, loving, helpful, thoughtful and generous would give you the shirt of his back. Update!!!!! We would like to raise money to help him get get through this difficult time with such a long road ahead to recovery.  Even if you are unable to donate please keep Tim and his family in your prayers. We want to thank everyone for all your support.
