Praying for Scott

Hello,

My name is Stephanie Lefdahl and I am Denise McReynolds cousin.

As most of you know, Denise and Jeff are parents to Scott Cooper McReynolds. Scott is a 20 year old resident of Kingsport TN and has two brothers, DJ and Tanner.

On Wednesday, May 12th Scott was diagnosed with COVID-19. By the next Wednesday he was in the hospital, and on Friday May 21st was moved to ICU and put on a vent. On Monday May 24th, after nearly dying, he was airlifted to Roanoke to be placed on ECMO treatment. Since then he has also been put on dialysis, medicine to keep his blood pressure up, has had GI bleeds, and will very likely lose some toes because of blood clots and poor circulation to his feet. Through the power of prayer, and our faith in God, our family believes Scott will be healed completely, but his medical expenses will be large.

On behalf of our entire families we want to thank you all for your steadfast prayers, love and concern for Scott.

As we all know, medical expenses can be overwhelming. Due to Scott’s seven weeks of hospitalization already and unforeseen timeframe of how much longer he will need to be in the hospital we are starting a Go Fund Me page.

It is our sincere hope and prayer that this will help lighten Jeff and Denise’s worries as they continue to focus on Scott’s needs and their family as they continue to navigate through this difficult journey.
