So my AMAZING father went in for what was
supposed to a quick routine heart procedure on  
Tuesday Nov. 19th 2019. Unfortunately there
were complications that caused his heart to not
want to beat on its own. After 15 long hours in
the operating room they stabilized him, but were
forced to leave his chest open in case they had to
go back in. After a week,that seemed like an
eternity in ICU where he finally got a little bit
stronger they decided they would close his chest
back up on Monday Nov. 25th 2019 and so they
did. Things were looking up until last night. His
kidneys began to fail and they put him on a dialysis machine. The Dr. Also made the made the decision to reopen his chest to relieve some pressure on his heart and lungs. Now he is on a breathing machine, heart machine, and a dialysis machine. Things are
looking very scary right now as I type and send this to you and they are doing all they can to try and
get his blood pressure up and stabilize him, but it
seems like everything’s working against their
efforts. 

The reason for this GOFundMe is because I have   been trying to stay by my mom side, she hasn’t left his side since this all began. I have requested
FMLA from my company, But they have let me
know that even if I’m approved I will not get paid
for it, because I do not have any vacation time left.
I have over 100 hours of sick time, but I can’t use
that to get paid unless I am the one that’s actually
sick.  Well this leaves me with a very difficult
decision of take the FMLA leave and put strain on my family by not getting paid. Or leave my mom
to deal with all of this alone. I have chosen to stay
by my mothers side in all of this. My family is a
family that likes to help more than ask for help. So,
I come to you all with a humble heart to ask for assistance of lost wages during this leave. I just
want to be able to both help my mother as much as I can and  also help keep my family above water. It
is understandable if you are not in a position to
