Hi. My name is Lucy Ewart.

We are raising money for our family and friends in Jamaica who live among the most devastated communities hit by Hurricane Melissa.

Most of our family and friends live in Westmoreland. What you are seeing on the news is exactly where they are. Most houses without roofs, if even still standing. All belongings destroyed. Food and water supplies are extremely low. Some aid is now coming in from other countries which is amazing but our family live in a place called Cave Mountain which is difficult for the big trucks to reach and is yet to receive any of the donations.

We are working with our family friend Major Nana, who lives in Kingston, to buy as many care packages and building supplies as possible. Kingston has little damage and shops and banks are still open - thank goodness. Once we have bought those, he will personally distribute them to our family, friends and their community asap!

Thank you for all your donations, prayers and messages of support!
