Praying for Jeff Hunt

As 2020 has shown us, there are many people who can use help and we should when we can. I am coming to you to ask for help for the Hunt family as they face the days ahead. Jeff Hunt was diagnosed with Covid right before Hurricane Sally and did his best to stay well at home with Marcie and their son Ryan. Unfortunately, with kidney issues from his transplant in 2003 and compromised immunity, Marcie was forced to take him to the hospital on Saturday, Sept 26 where he was admitted for dehydration and other issues. Since then, it has been a battle to get his body stable and his numbers in normal range. Their son Josh drove overnight from his home in North Carolina to come help Marcie and Ryan through this time. They decided that in order to try to keep his single kidney functioning, they would start dialysis today, Sept 29 and put in the port to begin. However, overnight he spiked a fever of 103 and is now being tested for Sepsis.
Jeff and Marcie have been through this before - the waiting game - where their trust in the Lord is tested to its fullest extent. They know He is with them and able to perform miracles. However, without dialysis, his kidney is continuing to sustain the toxin damage that is so hard to overcome. If his kidney does not regain it's function, he will have to go back on the transplant list once again. Without any end in sight, right now they will face, at the least, many hospital bills for these days of battle. Worse case scenario, they will begin a transplant journey once again.
Please help in any way that you can financially to support their family. If you can't, we covet your prayers that they stay faithful to our Father's promise that He will comfort and sustain their family through this journey once again. Jeff is a man of God who has brought comfort and calmness to so many families through his pastoring, counseling and friendship. Now it is our turn to return some of that help. As I said in the beginning of this, I know there are many people who need help right now but the Hunt family has given so much to others, I believe they deserve our help. We should when we can. Please pray for this family and help if your heart feels led.
