Hi, I’m Kent, Angie’s little brother. Angie is currently in the fight of her life as she works to recover from a life-altering brain aneurysm, suffered on August 14th, 2025. For anyone who knows this woman, she is a miracle and clearly strong in mind, body, spirit, and love! She has quickly progressed from a life-ending diagnosis, to being on life-support, to fighting to return to her family and home.
Our Angie is a kind-hearted, hard-working woman - co-owner & full-time operator of a local small business, a devoted mother to her 13-year-old twin daughters, and a loving wife, whose life will be dramatically altered. After suffering from a debilitating headache, Angie became unresponsive and was rushed to her local hospital. From there Angie was taken by air-ambulance to Regina General Hospital, and hours later re-routed via STARS to Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon, SK for emergency surgery.
Suffering from what was originally described as a ‘catastrophic brain bleed’, Angie defied the odds and in the presence of family, her beloved twin-girls, and medical professionals - began showing physical signs of just how much fight she has. Angie is currently surrounded by a tremendous medical team, where she is receiving the highest quality of care in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). We know we have a long fight ahead of us, but Angie continues to inspire as we await her next miracle.
As a family, we have been overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and support – from the local community of Moosomin/Rocanville, as well as from across Canada. While our family and Angie’s closest friends refuse to leave her side, we continue to receive thoughtful prompts from those wanting to help. Angie’s support team will continue to bear the personal cost of hotels, flights, fuel, meals, and air-ambulances to name only a few – with some sacrificing income by proactively requesting leave of absences, taking un-paid time away from their work/career. The family will be directly burdened by costs like additional air ambulance bills, potential long term care and rehabilitation costs, as well as having to consider potential refits of their home and the installation of specialized care equipment to support Angie’s recovery.
We will continue to focus on Angie’s health & recovery – please keep her in your prayers as we know she feels the energy and support being directed her way. While this is not a call for help, for those who want to support your donations and/or shares will be greatly appreciated.
