Praying & Asking God for a Miracle for Kristi
Kristi is a mother to 4 children of which one is a 9 year old son and 13 year old daughter and 2 older sons of which one is serving our country in the United States Army. She is also a daughter, sister and a friend to many. Kristi is also a FIGHTER. She is 46 years old and is now in Stage 4 cancer which has consumed a large part of her body.
Kristi was first diagnosed with kidney and adrenal gland cancer in March 2020 and she underwent major surgery and was told by her cancer doctor that they got all of the cancer.
Unfortunately at her follow up scans a few months later she was given the news that the cancer was back and had spread to her bones and multiple organs.
She began chemotherapy, radiation and immunotherapy treatments in hopes of beating the cancer that has continued to spread. On February 24th 2021 she received the devastating results from her surgeon that the latest scans that the treatments had not helped her and the cancer had spread throughout her entire body. She was given 2 options of either bringing in hospice to help with her pain management in her home the remaining days or to try an oral chemo pill to try to extend her life a few more weeks. She was told the pill would not stop the cancer and that it came with a lot of side affects, but Kristi refused to give up or lose hope.
Kristi has worked at Westlink Ace Hardware
in West Wichita on Tyler Road as the head
cashier for over 5 years and she has not been
able to work since January, due to the spreading cancer throughout her body and she does
not have any life insurance for end of life/burial or for the future needs of her 2 younger children.
We are starting this fundraiser to help her
with her continued medical expenses as well
as her end of life costs and if anything left
after that for her children and it would be
wonderful if she knows her financial needs are met while she is still fighting the fight.
Kristi is still fighting very hard and trying to enjoy every moment that she has left with her 4 children, her immediate family and her
many many friends, but she is also understandably worried about her exuberant amount of medical expenses her cancer has caused her and her end of life expenses. We are hoping that this Medical and End of Life fundraiser will relieve the financial worry she has while she continues to fight the cancer for more time with her family and friends. Any amount will help and sharing this fundraiser and prayers for her are very much appreciated by Kristi and her family. Thank you for taking the time to read Kristi’s story and your donation and sharing this fundraiser.
